(Working on a few other projects, or I'd just do it now.) After that, instead of trying to duplicate all of those effects in separate posts, I'll try to make a more general purpose specular post-effect that can be tweaked to duplicate any of those. What I'll plan on is getting a Plastic post-effect up sometime in the next couple of days, because that's easy. Looks like almost everything you want to do revolves around specular lighting. But I could add normal map support relatively easily, which would mean that you could 100% duplicate Lotion with a post effect. Rainy Day will actually make more sense as a post than it does as a main technique.ĭDark won't make sense as a post- the most you could do is alpha-blend it with another main effect. It looks like the only significant difference from the default shader is a specular boost, which can be done in a post. There's a lot of code that will never execute. Plastic will translate into a post perfectly and easily, I believe. It should translate into a post easily enough, but won't be exactly, 100% the same. Lotion is a combination of a specular-only normal map with a specular boost. Don't suppose you have the original readmes for lotion or 3dCG so I can credit the proper people? Thanks for including downloads, I always appreciate small kindnesses like that.
